- ESPACIO GAUDÍ, situado en el desván y la terraza de la Pedrera de CatalunyaCaixa.

Os presentamos una visión amplia y sugerente de Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). Mediante dibujos, maquetas, fotografías y audiovisuales, realizados especialmente para este proyecto, se explica la vida de este gran arquitecto, su contexto histórico y cultural y los valores artísticos y las innovaciones técnicas de su obra.

Y no te pierdas la espectacular terraza desde dónde podrás ver una gran panorámica de Barcelona, el ensanche barcelonés y contempla tres monumentos fundamentales de la ruta gaudiniana: la Casa Batlló, la Sagrada Familia y el Parque Güell.

Espacio Gaudí está pensado para que los visitantes puedan llegar a unas conclusiones propias y entiendan la arquitectura de Gaudí por la vía del conocimiento histórico y del razonamiento.

- EL PISO DE ÉPOCA, situado en la cuarta planta de la Pedrera de CatalunyaCaixa, tiene una superficie total de 569 m2 y ocupa el espacio de dos viviendas: en la primera se presenta una exposición y en la segunda se reconstruye un piso de época. ¡Veremos cómo se vivía en un piso de principios de siglo pasado!

La exposición explica cómo era la ciudad de Barcelona y la rápida transformación y adelantos de la sociedad en las primeras décadas de este siglo. Se han creado, pues, unos ámbitos dedicados en la ciudad, la sociedad y la vida moderna de entonces.

GAUDÍ SPACE, in the attic and on the roof-terrace at La Pedrera de CatalunyaCaixa.

We'd like to present a wide-ranging and thought-provoking vision of Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). Drawings, models, photographs and videos made especially for this exhibition are used to portray the life of this great architect, his historical and cultural context and the artistic values and technical innovation in his work.

And don't miss the spectacular roof-terrace where you'll have a panoramic view of Barcelona and its Eixample district, including three key buildings on the Gaudí route: Casa Batlló, the Sagrada Familia and Parc Güell.

The Gaudí Space is designed so that visitors can come to their own conclusions and understand Gaudí's architecture by way of historical knowledge and reasoning.

THE PERIOD APARTMENT, on the fourth floor at La Pedrera de CAIXA CATALUNYA, has a total area of 569 m2 and is on two levels: the first is an exhibition space while the second features a reconstruction of an apartment from the period. See what life was like in an apartment at the turn of the century!

The exhibition shows what the city of Barcelona was like and the rapid changes and advances that took place in society in the early decades of the 20th century through special sections set aside for the city, society and modern life of the period.
